That sounds like a small thing until the day you need it. The person who picks up knows which townships are on wells, knows what the water tends to do out toward Plain City, and can usually tell from your description whether you are looking at a hardness problem or an iron problem before anybody drives anywhere.

We are an authorized Kinetico dealer, and we are independently owned. Kinetico builds the equipment in Newbury, Ohio. We are the ones who come to your house, test your water, size the system, install it, and answer the phone three years later when you have a question about salt.
Being independent is why the recommendation you get is the one your water calls for rather than whatever a quota says. Some visits end with a drinking water station and no softener. Some end with us telling a homeowner that the softener they already own is fine and just needs a service call. Neither of those is a wasted trip.
Why we sell Kinetico
We sell it because of how it is built. A Kinetico softener has no electronics and nothing to plug in. It runs on the pressure of the water moving through it, which means there is no timer to fail, no board to replace, and no fault code after a storm takes the power out. Two tanks instead of one means soft water is available at every hour, including the hours a single-tank system would spend regenerating.
And it meters on volume rather than on a clock. The system counts the gallons your household actually uses and cleans itself when the gallons say to, not on a Tuesday because it is Tuesday. Over a year that is a real difference in salt, in water, and in whether you ever run out of capacity with a full house.
It also does not hurt that the equipment is made in Ohio, a couple of hours up the road.
What we do besides sell equipment
- Free in-home water testing. About twenty minutes at your kitchen sink, with no obligation attached to it.
- Installation. Done by our own people, not subcontracted out to whoever is available.
- Service on every brand. If you have a softener from somebody else and it has quit keeping up, call us anyway.
- Salt delivery. Across the Columbus area, so nobody has to wrestle bags out of a car trunk.
- Filter changes. On a schedule we keep track of, if you would rather not.
How we work

Nobody enjoys a kitchen table sales pitch, least of all at the end of a workday. So we do not do one. We test the water, we write down what we find, we explain what each number means in language that does not require a chemistry background, and we tell you what we would put in if it were our house.
