How our coverage works
Every town on this page sits inside our regular route, run by our own trucks out of our Columbus shop.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. The installation, the service call two years later, the salt delivery, and the annual filter change are all handled by the same crew, working from the same record of what is in your basement. Nothing is handed off to a subcontractor.
Scheduling works the same way in every town listed here. Call the office, tell us what is going on, and we will give you a day and an arrival window. Most of the metro is covered in a normal week. The outer towns, Delaware in particular, run on set days so we can group several stops into one trip. If you can be flexible about the day, we can usually reach you sooner.
Water is not the same everywhere in this area, which is why each town has a page of its own rather than a line on a list. A house on city water in Grove City and a house on a private well outside Delaware need genuinely different equipment, and even two neighborhoods inside Columbus can test differently depending on which plant serves them. The local page is where we put what we actually see in the homes we visit there.

City water in town and private wells once you get past the edge of it. We cover both, on set days.
Powell
Larger households and higher water use, where sizing the system to the people rather than the square footage matters.
Hilliard
City water, steady new construction, and a lot of first time softener owners learning what the equipment does.
Grove City
City water on the south side, with plenty of homes that have never had any treatment at all.
Gahanna
Established neighborhoods on city water, and a fair number of other brands we are asked to look at.
Worthington
Older housing stock, where the plumbing run and the space available decide a great deal about what fits.
New Albany
Newer homes on city water, often paired with a drinking water station at the kitchen sink.
A free in-home water test, in any of these towns
The test is the same wherever you are and it costs nothing. A technician comes to the house, draws water at your kitchen tap, and runs it in front of you. It takes about twenty minutes start to finish.
We test for hardness, iron, pH, chlorine and total dissolved solids, and we tell you the numbers as they come up rather than mailing you a report a week later. If your water is fine, we say so and we leave. That happens, and it is not a wasted trip for either of us.
If something does need attention, you get a straight explanation of what the reading means and what it would take to deal with it. No pressure to decide while we are standing there.

We travel well beyond this list for private well customers throughout rural Central Ohio, by appointment. Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Newark and Lancaster are all regular stops as well.

Parts are on the truck, and genuine Kinetico parts are in the shop, so most service calls finish in one visit rather than two.
The equipment is built in Newbury, Ohio, about two and a half hours up the road, and it runs without electricity on two tanks that take turns.
