The Cardinal Water Solutions newsletter

One email a month. Salt and filter reminders, notes on what Central Ohio water is doing this season, and now and then an offer. That is the whole thing.

What subscribers actually get

We would rather tell you up front than have you find out and unsubscribe in March.

Salt and filter reminders

A nudge when it is about time to look in the brine tank, and a heads up in the month your K5 cartridges are usually due. If you are on our delivery route or our filter schedule, the email tells you roughly where you sit in the rotation.

Seasonal notes for Central Ohio

Spring runoff, the summer draw on a shallow well, the first hard freeze in January. Water here changes with the season, and we write about what we are actually running into in homes that month.

Answers to what people ask us

Whatever came up most at the office that month, written out plainly. How much salt is normal for a household your size, why a softener regenerates in the middle of the night, what a water test is actually measuring.

Occasional offers

When there is a promotion on a system or on filter service, subscribers hear about it first. We do not run a promotion every month, so you will not get an email about one every month.

How often we send, and what we will not do

Nobody signed up for a water newsletter hoping for more email. We keep it to a schedule you can predict.

  • One regular issue a month, usually in the first week. It is short enough to read standing at the counter.
  • A brief reminder if your filter change or salt delivery is coming up. That reminder goes only to the customers it applies to.
  • Nothing else. No daily tips, no drip sequence, no third party advertising slipped in beside our own.
  • We do not sell or share your email address. It is used to send you this newsletter and nothing more.

Unsubscribing

Every message we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom of it. One click and you are off the list, effective immediately, with no confirmation page trying to talk you out of it. If you would rather just reply and tell us to take you off, that works too and we will do it by hand.

Unsubscribing has no effect on your service. Your salt deliveries, your filter schedule, your equipment records, and your standing with us all stay exactly where they were. The newsletter list and your customer account are kept separate on purpose.

Join the list

Your email address is all we need. A first name lets us open with your name instead of a blank greeting, and a ZIP code lets us skip the notes that do not apply where you live. Both are optional.

You do not have to be a customer. Plenty of people on the list are still deciding whether they want to do anything about their water, and reading for a few months before they call is a perfectly reasonable way to make that decision.

If you already get invoices from us, the address on your account is not automatically on this list. We do not add customers to a marketing list without being asked.

What last month's email looked like

Four short pieces and a sign off. Reading the whole thing takes about three minutes.

Why your softener runs at two in the morning, and why a Kinetico regenerating on measured water volume picks its own moment rather than a clock time you set.

Salt going into winter, what to look at in the brine tank before the first hard freeze, and how to tell a bridged crust from a normal salt level.

K5 filter changes, a short note on the cartridge order and how to work out which one is due without pulling all of them.

One reader question, this time from a customer asking why the water feels different at her mother's house in Delaware than it does at home in Hilliard.

Would you rather just talk to someone?

The newsletter is not the fast way to get an answer. If you have a question about your water right now, call us at (614) 555-0100 and we will answer it.
