The people who show up
Cardinal Water Solutions is the authorized, independent Kinetico dealer for Columbus and Central Ohio. Independent is the important word in that sentence, and it is worth a minute of your time.
What independent means
Kinetico builds the equipment in Newbury, Ohio. We are the people who test your water, size the system, install it, service it and answer the phone when you call about it. We are not a call center and we are not a franchise office in another state.
That arrangement is the whole reason this business works. The factory gets to concentrate on building something that lasts, and we get to concentrate on the part that happens inside your house, which is the part you will actually experience.
It also means the person who recommends a system is the person who has to come back and service it. That tends to keep recommendations honest.

How we like to work
Four habits, held to on purpose.
First
Test before we talk
We will not recommend equipment for water we have not measured. The in-home test takes about twenty minutes and it costs nothing. If your water turns out to be in decent shape, you will hear that from us and we will go home.
Second
Size it to the house
A system that is too small runs constantly, and a system that is too large costs money you did not need to spend. The right size comes out of your hardness number and how much water your family actually goes through in a day.
Third
Explain the whole thing
Before we leave on installation day you will know where the shutoff is, what salt to buy, how to tell when it wants some and what is worth calling us about. Nobody should feel nervous about equipment in their own basement.
Fourth
Come back
An annual visit is part of how we do this. We check the settings, look the system over, and deal with whatever has come up in the past twelve months while we are already standing there.
Where we go
We cover Columbus and the communities around it: Dublin, Powell, Worthington, Westerville, New Albany, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Grove City, Hilliard, Upper Arlington and Bexley, along with Delaware, Marysville, Newark, Lancaster and the country in between.
Homes inside the outerbelt are usually on city water and usually a hardness conversation. Homes outside it are often on a private well, and those visits take a little longer because there is more to look at. Either way the test is free, and either way we come to you.
If you are not certain whether we reach you, call and ask. It is a short question and we would far rather answer it than have you sit there wondering.
