A softener treats the whole house, but it is not designed to filter the water you drink. The K5 finishes that job at the kitchen sink. It uses reverse osmosis along with carbon and specialty filter stages, and a storage tank under the sink keeps treated water ready, so filling a pitcher or a stock pot feels no different from using any other tap.
The K5 platform is independently certified against NSF/ANSI standards for the contaminants it is designed to reduce. We choose the filter set from your test results, install the dedicated faucet beside your main tap, and can connect the system to your refrigerator and ice maker as well. Filter changes are handled on a schedule, so the water stays the way it was on day one.
