How MJM Design collects, uses, and protects information submitted through the Water Dealer Pro website.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by MJM Design of Columbus, Ohio, trading as Water Dealer Pro. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how it is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website only and not to any dealer website we build and host, each of which is controlled by the dealership that owns it.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to provide. When you request a free audit we ask for your dealership name, email address, and telephone number. When you request a preview or place an order we may also ask for your contact name, city, current website address, the design you have selected, and any notes you wish to add.
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which record the requesting IP address, the pages served, the date and time, and the browser identification string. These logs are used for security and for diagnosing faults.
Where you reach us through a link in an email we sent you, that link may carry a short code identifying the campaign and the dealership it was addressed to. We record that code alongside the pages you visit so we know which outreach was useful and so we can pick up the conversation knowing who you are. We also record the step reached in an order form, including whether an attempt to open the payment page failed, so that we can follow up and fix it.
This website does not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third party analytics services.
3. How we use your information
Information you submit is used to prepare and deliver the audit or preview you requested, to fulfill an order, and to respond to your inquiry. If you become a client, your contact details are used to administer your account and to provide the service. We do not use your information for any other purpose.
4. Payment information
Online card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure payment page. We do not receive, process, or store complete card numbers on this website or on our servers. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing purposes. Information is disclosed only to the service providers necessary to operate this website and deliver the service, which are our hosting provider and, where payment is taken online, Stripe.
Pages on this website load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore contacts Google's servers when a page loads, and Google may receive your IP address as part of that request.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
6. Marketing communications
We do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement. If you ask us to contact you, we will contact you about the matter you raised. Should we ever introduce a newsletter or similar communication, participation would be by request only, and every message would carry a means of withdrawing.
7. Retention
Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of the work discussed. Client account records are kept for the duration of the service and afterwards for the period required to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Server access logs are retained on a short rolling basis.
8. Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to submitted information is restricted to those who need it in order to deliver the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information in our care.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us by telephone at (614) 432-8811 extension 101 or through our contact page and we will act on your request. Deleting information necessary to an active account may mean we can no longer provide the service.
10. Children
This website is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen.
11. Independence from Kinetico Incorporated
Water Dealer Pro is an independent service of MJM Design. Information submitted through this website is not shared with Kinetico Incorporated, except where you ask us to assist with a co-op reimbursement claim, in which case only the invoice details you direct us to provide are supplied.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date below indicates when it was last amended.
